Returns & Exchanges FAQ - Italy

Do you want to exchange the size or item you purchased?

If you don't like the item you purchased or if the size doesn't fit you, you can request a FREE EXCHANGE WITHOUT ADDITIONAL COSTS WITHIN 30 DAYS OF DELIVERY with:

• Any other item of equal or greater value
• Same item but different size
• Same item but different color


Note: This service can only be used once (for one exchange). Further exchanges are charged to the customer at a cost of €7.99 + €1.50 for each additional product.
For shipments outside of Italy, this service is not available.

Do you want to return the purchased product and receive a refund?

You can return the purchased product within 14 days from the delivery date.

Customers who purchase with a VAT number cannot exercise the right of withdrawal.

Return Information:
1) The goods must be intact, unworn, and returned in their original packaging, complete in all their parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories);
2) To limit damage to the original packaging, we recommend placing it in a second box (avoid applying labels or adhesive tape directly to the product's original packaging);
3) The shipment, until confirmed receipt at our warehouse, will be under the sole responsibility of the customer;
4) Shipping costs for returning the goods are borne by the customer; it is possible to request pickup at your address using our courier at a cost of €7.99 which will be deducted from the refund. An additional €1.99 will be added for each additional product.
5) The return must take place within 14 days from the date on which you communicated your decision to return the purchased products.

If you use our courier:
1) Contact Customer Service to arrange pickup and receive the return label;
2) Print the return label and place it on the package;
3) Securely close the box with wide adhesive tape to prevent opening or damage;
4) The courier will pick up the package at your address;
5) You will receive a refund after the goods have arrived at our warehouses and we have verified their integrity.
N.B.: €7.99 for the home pickup service + €1.99 for each additional item returned will be deducted from the refund.
For shipments outside Italy, this service is not available.

If you use your own courier:
1) Securely close the box with wide adhesive tape to prevent opening or damage;
2) Ship the package to:

N.B.: We are not responsible for damage or theft/loss of goods returned with uninsured shipments. Cash-on-delivery or freight collect packages will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Do you want to return/exchange the product by taking it to the store?

You can return an online purchase by bringing it to the store at no cost to you. Our staff will verify the integrity of the product and packaging and ensure it falls within the refund (14 days) or exchange (30 days) timeframe.

When will I receive my refund?

If you have returned an item for a refund: It will be issued within 7 working days from the moment we receive your return in our warehouses, after verifying the integrity of the goods, we will issue a refund for the amount paid at the time of purchase.
Supplementary services (Cash on Delivery and Express Shipping) chosen at the time of purchase will be deducted from the amount.
If you used our courier for the "return with refund" option, €7.99 for the service + €1.99 for each additional item returned will be deducted.

If you cancelled your order before shipping: The refund will be processed within 5 working days.

Do you want to return an item purchased at a HODEA store?

All items purchased at our stores that are not to your liking may be exchanged for other items or returned for a voucher of equal value within 20 (twenty) days from the date of purchase shown on the sales receipt, provided that they have not been worn, modified at the customer's request, further discounted for a visible defect declared at the time of purchase, and are intact and include the original box.

An item that has already been exchanged cannot be exchanged again.

To make an exchange, proof of purchase with the date and amount of the price paid (sales receipt or electronic transaction) is essential.

You can request a return in exchange for a voucher (of equal value or residual value in case of exchange for a lower-priced item) redeemable within 180 days from the date of issue.

Under no circumstances will cash refunds be given.

The store staff and management reserve the right to refuse an exchange for any reason.

This information is additional, supplementary, and never a substitute for the rights provided by law to protect consumers.
